Our Guiding Principles
1. Every child has the potential to develop skills beyond their current level and should be free of behaviors and activities that cause injury, pain, or limit opportunities for full community involvement.
2. Scientifically proven interventions based on the principles of applied behavior analysis are the most effective therapeutic practices.
3. Communication and social skills that lead to rewarding personal relationships, well being, vocational productivity, and self-determined daily activities should be targeted.
4. In order to reach the best child's outcomes, reliance on evidenced –based literature and data that is collected and analyzed daily is imperative.
5. The work of B.F. Skinner’s analysis of verbal behavior and other empirical work guide our treatment and instructional plans.
6. Treatment decisions are based on child’s response to intervention (RTI) with data graphically displayed and utilized for informed treatment decisions.
7. Functional communication is the foundation that supports the development of all skills and all areas and therefore serves as priority in our treatment.
8. Individualization to all pedagogical tactics is priority.
9. Public disability education and awareness provides understanding and promotes the rights of all individuals to be treated with the dignity and respect they deserve
10. Parents and caregivers have the right to be an integral part of their child’s learning, the right to feel that their child is in a safe and nurturing environment and cared for by competent, well trained therapists.
